Iron Elegance: Blue Collar Resilience

Iron Elegance" is a sculptural exploration that merges industrial strength with artistic expression. It transforms the raw, unyielding nature of rebar into symbols of resilience, progress, and beauty. This series pays homage to the blue-collar laborers whose hands and sweat have shaped our cities, infrastructure, and world.

The project began as a contemplation of material and form, elevating rebar, traditionally seen as merely functional, into a medium of artistic discourse. Each sculpture in the series represents a dialogue between strength and delicacy, where the rigid, cold metal is manipulated to reveal unexpected grace and elegance. The works evoke a sense of endurance, capturing the essence of labor and the physicality involved in construction, yet they also invite reflection on the aesthetics of industrial materials.
